Wildebeesthoek was a fantastic place, one of the better accommodations we have stayed at in the entire SA. We enjoyed watching the birds and walking along the various trails, and the easy access to the Honey Company restaurant (a must visit!) was great. Amelia and Rahim were both super helpful, accommodating, and responsive to messages during our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay in the Magaliesberg area.

What a blessed weekend break we had. Birds nest was exactly that, we experienced late afternoons and early mornings with the sounds of nature, birds calls, twitters and seeing squirrels scurrying from branch to branch was very entertaining. We saw a troop of baboons high upon the hill behind the house barking at each other as they make their way down to the valley below. This is the place to be if you want to experience nature and get away from it all!! Picture window! Wow! Most of all what a beautiful clean and well kept place to stay in. It is honestly appreciated. Thank you! We will be back!

Our group used the tree and bird house, and we thoroughly enjoyed both venues. The special touches were appreciated (vase of flowers, complimentary coffee, Cremora, sugar, beautiful soap bars, chairs set out, and cappuccino vouchers). Well equipped for our needs. The squirrels, bush babies and lots of birds were amazing. The cat was a pleasure to have around, as well as the visits from the dog. The outdoor shower and toilet were a hit with us. Cannot complain about anything. Second visit here.

The stay was just what we were looking for, a peaceful hideaway close to home. 40-minute drive.

Dit is ons tweede keer daar gewees. Wat ‘n awesome plek om net weg te breek van die geraas en die stad. Jy voel sommer weggesteek tussen die bome, en kan rerig afskakel en “recharge”. Baie dankie, Amelia, en jou span wat reggestaan het om ons verblyf great te maak. Was amazing om die diere te sien soos ons ingery het! Sal enige tyd dit aanbeveel en gaan vir seker weer terug!

Uitstekende diens! Dit is die beste plek om weg te kom van die stad se gewoel. Ons het heerlik gekuier en baie gerus. Dit is beslis ook die skoonste plek wat ons al besoek het. Die staproetes is ook iets om aan te pak. Die uitsig is baie mooi en die wild is volop. Ons het ook vreeslik lekker gekuier by The Honey Company net 8 min se loop vanaf die huis. Hul kos en diens is uit die boonste rakke. Sal beslis weer gaan.

Dit is wragtie ‘n baie oulike plekkie. Ons is workaholics, en die naweek het ons afgesluit, fone afgesit, en net geontspan terwyl ons staar na die berge, bome en voëltjies wat baljaar. Dit het heerlik gereën, en ons het die verskoning om binne te ontspan geniet. Groot vensters om ver te kan sien. Die Honey Company Restaurant is net so 5 minute se stappie weg. Werner het vir ons ‘n plan gemaak, toe ons voertuig nie wou start op uitkloktyd nie, hy het sommer gou iemand gekry om te kom help. Vir ‘n naweek was die wegbreek regtig wat ons nodig gehad het. En die lekker ding is, dit is nie ‘n dag se ry nie. Sommer om net hier om die draai. Ons gaan vir seker weer terug. 

Mooiste mooi, gaan definitief weer terug. Alles wat mens benodig is daar, hulle het alles haarfyn beplan sodat jy niks sal kort nie.

We enjoyed the quiet stay! We felt welcome from the very beginning. The Tree House was spacious (we were 4) and well designed also for families with younger kids with two of the three bedrooms next to each other. For us, it was perfect and we also enjoyed the ‘meet & greet’ with all the zebras, impalas and smaller animals a lot! Thank you.

I had an unforgettable weekend at this beautiful nature reserve with its amazing trails and animals. I stayed in the treehouse and it was incredibly spacious, extremely comfortable, and far better than the photos suggest. The management team is wonderfully friendly: they give you a great tour and then let you enjoy the peace and quiet. Mr. Patrick, in particular, was fantastic. A truly tranquil escape I’d go back to in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay and very friendly staff, going the extra mile. We will certainly like to return.

Alles was noukeurig voorberei. Absoluut wonderlik, kan nie wag om weer te gaan nie.

This is an absolute must! Beautiful setting, well maintained property and great trails. Very comfortable and everything you would need.

Awesome place for relaxation and tranquility. Lots of birds, squirrels and bushbabies. The outdoor setup at the Tree House was brilliant for sun or shade.

We had a lovely stay at Wildebeesthoek. The cabin was very comfortable. The place was extremely quiet and absolutely beautiful. The views from the deck were stunning. Unfortunately, we had picked to go when we had a huge amount of rain, so we couldn’t do any of the walks. Will definitely go back again.
